Our Story
The Leathercrafters Association of Queensland Inc. was formed in May 1985 by a small group of enthusiastic makers who shared a passion for leathercraft.
What began as a simple gathering of like-minded people has grown into a long-standing community dedicated to promoting, developing and preserving the art of leathercraft.
For over 40 years, the Association has provided a place where knowledge is shared, skills are developed, and creativity is encouraged.

Who We Are
We are a welcoming, community-based organisation made up of people who enjoy working with leather — from complete beginners to experienced and professional craftspeople.
Our members come together to learn, create, and connect in a supportive and friendly environment.

• Hands-on workshops and project-based learning
